Big Sky is home to so many unique experiences!

Big Sky Resort is the ultimate skiing and snowboarding destination, and nothing is better than a fresh powder day on the mountain! The Bavarian Forest and Lookout Ridge areas are some of the most underrated spots to get some great turns in.

The Gallatin River is home to some of the best fly fishing around, and Hog Alley is a honey hole that is definitely worth checking out! Hiring a local fishing guide is a fantastic way to find even more bountiful river spots.

Hiking is one of the best ways to take in the vast natural beauty of the Big Sky area. Ousel Falls trail is one of the most popular Big Sky recreation spots, and is a short out-and-back 1.6 mile hike that leads you to the majestic Ousel Falls. The Beehive Basin Trail is one of the most beautiful and popular hikes in Big Sky. In late Spring and early Summer there are incredible wildflowers in every direction. Making the 7.1 mile hike to the top is rewarded by incredible mountain views and a crystal clear lake.

Big Sky is home to some delicious dining experiences, and one of the favorites is Lone Mountain Ranch sleigh-ride dinner. Guests load up on a horse-drawn carriage, ride through the snow, and arrive at a remote cabin to eat dinner. Big Sky base area and Big Sky Town Center are also home to many fun and delicious bars and restaurants.
