Music in the Mountains
Hosted by the Arts Council of Big Sky, Music in the Mountains offers free live music every Thursday from June through September. Featuring the best up and coming touring musicians in the country as well as established, well-known artists. The our state-of-the-art venue (Center Stage at Town Center Park) provides the perfect backdrop for locals and visitors to come together and enjoy incredible live music under the Big Sky. Don’t miss out on the annual July 4 concert, the Big Sky Classical Music Festival, and a free performance from Montana Shakespeare in the Parks!
Big Sky PBR
Deemed “Big Sky’s Biggest Week”, Big Sky PBR (professional bull riding) takes place in Town Center every year at the end of July. This multi-weekend event features music, auctions, family events and of course a lot of incredible bull riding. In 2017, the professional bull riders voted the Big Sky PBR “Event of the Year” for the fifth year in a row.
Farmer’s Market
For the past 11 years Big Sky has been offering up the best local produce, crafts art and more at the weekly Farmer’s Market. Held in the Town Center Plaza in front of the new Wilson Hotel every Wednesday beginning at 5pm from June through September.

Wilson Hotel
The Wilson Hotel in Big Sky Town Center is the first major hotel chain project for Big Sky. Lone Mountain Land Company broke ground on the Wilson Hotel on July 21, marking the addition of Big Sky’s first major hotel brand. The Wilson Hotel in Town Center, a Marriott Residence Inn, opened during the 2018-2019 ski season.The hotel’s name pays tribute to President Woodrow Wilson, who signed the congressional act that created the National Parks Service in 1916, and recognizes Wilson Peak, one of the most prominent mountains in the Spanish Peaks overlooking Big Sky. The hotel is designed as an all-suite hotel, consisting of 129 units available for reservation, commercial space, a full-service restaurant, a bar/lounge area, meeting spaces, a fitness center, pool and more. Each room has a kitchenette, making it ideal for extended ski and summer vacationers.
Big Sky Medical Center
Opened in 2015, the Big Sky Medical Center provides healthcare to those living in and visiting Big Sky and Southern Gallatin County. Five doctors are on medical staff at BSMC and its family medicine clinic. Also under the same roof are the Big Sky Pharmacy and Lone Peak Physical Therapy, making BSMC an integrated medical facility meeting many of the community’s health needs.
